Making Glitter Pumpkins

So I found this awesome idea on HGTV. Instead of carving your pumpkins this year, try decorating them in glitter! SOOOO different and one of the cutest fall decorations that I've seen yet! I definitely recommend trying this I am in love. Try this with your kids or by yourself it's the cutest idea and luckily it's kid friendly which is super exciting!
So basically what you are going to need are pumpkins of any size; any color glitter you like; a spoon either plastic or metal; some spray adhesive; a small paintbrush; some brown craft paint; a roll of craft paper and some newspaper.
1.) Lay down your newspaper in your work area and then lay your brown craft paper down on top of it so that it basically holds your work area in place.
2.) If you have pumpkins of different colors go ahead and decide which pumpkins get which colors.
3.) Go ahead and spray the top and the middle of the pumpkin with your spray adhesive. ( If you don't want to spray the stem then try not to get any adhesive on the stem. You can use painters tape for this.)
4.) While the adhesive is still wet, take your spoon and sprinkle the glitter over the sticky surface of the pumpkin and allow that to dry.
5.)  Pick up the pumpkin and shake off any excess glitter that you don't want and put it back into it's container.
6.) Turn the pumpkin over and spray the bottom with the adhesive and cover it with glitter just like before.
7.) Paint the stem with the brown craft paint to make the glitter pop.
8.) And you're finished!

What a brilliant idea HGTV!!! This is awesome!!
